That looks quite nice, especially in yellow! Yellow is the best color for sure. Too bad they put that front license plate on it. Other than that, looks like a decent model. For $25 shipped from France it is not bad at all, against any other metric, it is a bit lacking except that they got the shape down very well. Congratulations on completing your set of road going Vettes. With that done, are you going to get the racing versions? Still lacking a couple but it would not be a stretch to do racing versions as I already have some of them. Nice Corvettes, I like them (well I am a Chevy owner) but the owners here in the UK are usually a but different from owners of the normal cars. Some years ago I took my Impala to a weekend event for older US vehicles and the Corvette club were holding their national event there too. I was introduced to I think the chairman of the UK Corvette club, he had a C2 but it was hors de combat so he had brought his '95 Impala SS. He took me for a ride in it, great car (still want one), I told him that I liked Corvettes but not so much the owners, I did mention chest wigs, gold chains, shirts more open that is necessary etc. He replied ouch but so true. Plus they don't seem to notice other US cars when they are out and about, a friendly wave is the norm but hardly ever from a Vette driver. Anyway still not sure about the C8, kind of reminds me of a Ferrari or McLaren plus do they have a flat plane crank? The ones I have heard on screen don't have that splendid V8 rumble like what my Impala does. Corvette drivers are their own breed, sort of like when someone buys a Harley, their wardrobe chages and they only hand around with other Harley people. Same for when someone buys their first Vette I think the new ones sound different because Chevy wants to move away from cars that sound like Impalas. Looks like you've been bitten by the 'got to complete this' bug, Jeff! Excellent picks, but you knew I'd say that... love the yellow trio, yellow has become the iconic Corvette colour. Funny, I've yet to meet someone who loves the C8. I think model collectors just buy them to get the entire set. Even though I am not a Corvette person, it is such a historic and important car, I really should have some good representation in my collection. Yellow surely has become their unofficial color. Very much so! You must be a mustard over ketchup guy, am I right Jeff? Exactamundo. The C7 definitely had a harder look about it than the C6, and all the better for it. I am with you there, Martin. That said, the guy 2 doors down has a really nice C6 in blue and at looks great. I was in a local store yesterday and saw this Greenlight C4 in 1:43 (a themed model from 'The Big Lebowski). I thought it might fill a hole in your Vette collection if you didn't already have a C4. Thanks, that is one I need and that would fit in quite nicely.

Yikes! I just checked ebay and this car must be in big demand, cheapest is $50 while most are over $100!

I could probably get it to your front door for US$55. Let me know how you go.

Thanks so much for the offer, not so certain that I want $50+ in a Greenlight I think the pricing is reflective of fans of the movies moreso than the car. I am going to keep looking for either the Premium X, a better deal on the Greenlight or hopefully they will release another color and I can get it for the usual $20.

That's a great color for the C4 Jeff. Much better than the red here. Wish IXO/PX would do more colors, I would almost think there's a market for these gens?

Congratulations on completing the set! Your gold chains are in the mail! Of the bunch, the C3 stands out to me. Perhaps its because its styling hints back to the early Stingrays.

The C4 is certainly a bit overlooked by car people, it seems to be a tad unloved but that does mean that they can be bought at a good price for the performance you get. Something of a bargain really. I've had the old Western Models white metal model in about the same blue for quite some years now, not a bad model at all. Great that you have a full set of Vettes now, I know I'm missing at least a couple.

That had your name written all over it Jeff, I'd have been surprised if you'd gotten a different model. I recall being equally floored when I saw my first C4. Still one of my favourite generations and a great model.

Nice work on (nearly) completing the set. The C4 can hold its own as far as looks go in the Corvette world.

Well done, Jeff! That’s a very nice looking model of one of my favourite Corvettes! The Model sure captures the flavor of the car. That's a great color for the C4 Jeff. Much better than the red here. Wish IXO/PX would do more colors, I would almost think there's a market for these gens? I would think there would be a lot more demand fpr more Vettes of any color. Congratulations on completing the set! Your gold chains are in the mail! Of the bunch, the C3 stands out to me. Perhaps its because its styling hints back to the early Stingrays. Still one short of the complete run in street clothes as I want to do but I am getting closer. In the C3 I like the first and the last versions the best, the mid 70's the least. They really are a terrific bargain or at least they were, like everything with 4 wheels the prices are on the move. That had your name written all over it Jeff, I'd have been surprised if you'd gotten a different model. I recall being equally floored when I saw my first C4. Still one of my favourite generations and a great model. After seeing yours there was really no question. The Greenlight would have been nice but this is much nicer and cheaper. Congratulations on completing the set! Your gold chains are in the mail! Of the bunch, the C3 stands out to me. Perhaps its because its styling hints back to the early Stingrays. Indeed. C2 & C3 are the Covettes I like most..so much so I have both in '43 & '18. Give me a 1973 Goodwood Green big block Roadster and I would be a very happy man. Nice work on (nearly) completing the set. The C4 can hold its own as far as looks go in the Corvette world. I think it was the perfect steeping stone in to the modern Corvettes that followed it.
