Just magnificent. Are we seeing the start of a Museum of sorts?

Assolutamente stupendo stupendo! Grazie amico a mio Lovely, they look so good especially on your kitchen wall. What's for dinner? I can knock up a good curry, or better still an all day breakfast. Thanks Tom Just magnificent. Are we seeing the start of a Museum of sorts? Not sure about that Martin. Certainly an alternative if displaying the collection. However, I'm calling this "stock" for now. Might be selling a few later in the year at the Heritage Hub in Bicester. See how it goes first.

A fitting tribute to a proper character in Lm history. As usual, impeccable quality.

Mighty fine displays again, not envious, honest. I like the Le Mans/956 art, I was there in 1983/4/6 thus the 956/962 was the dominant car plus back then I was a Porsche fan.

Blown away by those. They are absolutely top quality/professional standard. Particularly like the Duckhams colour scheme one. How are you forming the ones with the perspex covers that stand proud of the frame? Is it "simply" cutting perspex to size and then gluing or "welding" the pieces together? Keep up the great work.

A fitting tribute to a proper character in Lm history. As usual, impeccable quality. Thanks Tom. I'm always interested in those who add character to LM history. What a tasteful display! The metal LeMans circuit looks great! Cheers Julio. My friend who made that should of continued, he could of made a business out of it. Mighty fine displays again, not envious, honest. I like the Le Mans/956 art, I was there in 1983/4/6 thus the 956/962 was the dominant car plus back then I was a Porsche fan. Glad you are enjoying them Paul, after all we are like minded people so I hope they are received well. Many thanks Paul, I'm trying to judge peoples opinion so to receive your kind words is a great help. Luckily I know someone who makes the Perspex covers for me, I just do the framing. Each cover has a 6mm wide spacer fixed to the bottom edge of the Perspex cover. It then all slides into the ally frame.

It didn't take me long to realized these shadow box frames could be used for F1 models also, especially the Championship winners from the Panini Collection (Parts Works), so behind the scenes I have been collecting a few. I'll admit my inspiration came from Martin's (Alfaholic) PW F1 collection. Talking of which, the first one will no doubt please our Southern Hemisphere friends. More to follow when they arrive. Initial loose fitting set up Firming up on ideas Adding a bit more with ref to the driver Completed item including correct Panini magazine. I found a few at a recent swap meet.

Your fantastic work has taken a humble PW to a much higher level.
Great subject matter for this first F1 effort - no bias here at all! Even though I was rooting for Villeneuve and Ferrari when Jonesy was doing his winning, I was still a fan of his. Years later when I was back on the Gold Coast in Queensland, I used to often have lunch at a bar/restaurant downstairs in the building I was working in , and Alan was more often than not propped up at the bar with a drink. I'm sure some folks knew who he was, but just as many thought he was just another middle-aged man have a lunchtime bevvy or two! This was in the time when he was running a few businesses (unsuccessfully as it turned out) on the Gold coast post his retirement.
