This could be my favourite Porsche, and in a good colour!

If you're going to break a rule, this is the perfect one to do it.

A great little rule breaker of a car.

Someone started out with the red 924 turbo and the rest just followed.

I think it’s well-known among my friends that I collect 1:43. However, when anyone who doesn’t collect models gives me one it’s almost invariably a 1:18. Perhaps the thought is that when you spend money on a model, you'd better have something tangible to show for it. When it’s this nice however, I will gladly make room for it even if it means that other models have to go. The history of the Rancho is well-known here, so I won’t repeat it. This might be the crossover’s great granddad- a car that looks like it goes anywhere yet it was FWD only and powered by a 1.2 engine. It went on asphalt but elsewhere was usually off limits. The model was made by KK-scale which is an initiative of online shop Modelissimo in Germany. You’d think it’s resin, but it’s actually die cast and really well-made. As a result of this gift I looked into the KK range (I deliberately disregard anything but 1:43 when searching) and was impressed by the number of models as well as the number of subjects. I really like this model, it’s well finished and correct and the colour is exactly as I recall KK-Scale - Talbot Simca Rancho
