Yeah sorry, it is me. I thought I had a better photo of the pub, but this is the only one I could find at short notice - it was taken a couple of years ago.

Jerry, noticed my neighbor's (Mr. Haywood) signature in this photo...OK, he doesn't know me from Adam, but it is fun to just recently realize this fact!

As fabulous as the collection looks in pictures, it is even better to see in the metal as the entire space is magical. What a setup!

Certainly very nice to put a face behind a name, no apology necessary. You actually remind me of an old friend of mine who now lives about as far away, in Georgia. 😁

We'll resume our collection tour in the workshop. Stay together now, don't lag behind! One of two large display cases I have, this one houses my Gulf, Rothmans, Martini and Porsche race cars, transporters and support vehicles. I have a LED lighting kit for it, I really need to get around to installing to give more light to the bottom shelves. The lower three shelves contain a mixture of Porsche, Ferrari and Abarth. The lower shelf contains my Targa Florio cars and bases to three Targa dioramas I have built over the last couple of years. Sitting on top of the display case are my 1961, 62 & 63 Le Mans winners in 1/18 scale, together with my 1/18 Ferrari transporter and its load of 250 GTO's. Now were moving on to the Jaguar section. I have representative models of all the SS Jaguar production cars made from 1931 to most of the more recent cars. This includes Daimler models from the time of Jaguar's purchase of Daimler in 1960, or Daimler badged variants of Jaguar production cars after 1962. The first case is the early cars... ... to the more modern. Its not a 100% complete representation of ever production car Jaguar made over the last 90 years, but close. For those of you with eagle eyes, yes some of the cnfo cards need editing. Next up, Jaguar racing!

Indeed it is! Just gets better, the closer we get
If MS143 ever has a US gathering, this would be an incredible place to meet...host willing of course!

I am enjoying this trawl through your collection Jerry - very impressive. If I had to be critical though, I would suggest that in the second photo the Ferraris should be on the top shelf, above the P-cars .

I am not envious at all. Much. Superb displays, I would be looking at everything for hours taking it all in.

Fantastic Jerry, thanks for sharing.
I've often wondered about displaying some of my models in the garage, but I fear its just too dusty when the wind whips up.

Fantastic Jerry, thanks for sharing. I've often wondered about displaying some of my models in the garage, but I fear its just too dusty when the wind whips up. Your welcome! 😄 The wall cases all have front covers that hinge on the top and were lifted for the photos to eliminate as much glare as possible. They are pretty dust proof.

Let’s continue on with our tour shall we? We are now going to the Jaguar racing section. For those of you only interested in red cars, wait here, the next bus will be along shortly (that is if we can get the old Italian relic running again.) again, sorry about the reflections in the images. Our staff photographer really does need to be replaced. Here is a free-standing case which features C-Type Jaguars up top and the more modern XJR’s from Le Mans in the section below. Continuing on with the XJR and Le Mans themes, in the lower sections of the cabinet we see the 1990’s Le Mans cars above and XJ220’s in the section on the bottom, with notable E-type racers sandwiched in between. Sitting alongside the case we just toured is this case containing my large-scale Jaguar D-Types (1/12, 1/18 & 1/24). I really must speak with housekeeping about their lack of any effort to dust this one in a while! It might be a job better suited to the talents of the photographer. While on a D-Type theme, moving along we come to another free-standing cabinet which houses D-Types in the top section (including a homage to Norman Dewis) and in the section below, a collection of racing Jaguar Mk2’s. Bonus points if anyone can tell me what tie the silver grey Mk2 with no numbers on the end has to racing? Below are three sections further dedicated to Jaguar racing. The section in the middle of the case is where I keep my Broadspeed XKC’s. Below that is a section reserved for my friend Bob Tullius’ Group 44 Jaguars and just below that, Jaguar F1. Those are actual gearbox pieces in the center from a R2 mounted on an actual piece of bottom barge plate. Perhaps the fact that they were missing explains some of their retirements? Sitting on top of that case are smaller cases containing my XJ13 models in various scales (wish I would have bought several 1/18 scale models when new and had the chance!). Next to that is a small case which shows the evolution of the XKR up to 2005 (assuming anyone else cares?). Okay, finally we come to this wall case which houses an eclectic collection of Jaguar and Jaguar powered racing vehicles. One of my next projects will be making labels for this case for those that don’t know the difference between a Lister and an SS Airline (or like me sometimes forget). That concludes the tour for today. Next, we will look at Trans Am, Austin Healey’s and British racing cars. I do hope those still waiting for a bus catch up.
