I do have this, I recall buying it in my friend's shop in London. It's happily sitting in a display cabinet. Nice that you finally managed to buy one.

Gorgeous model. I would prefer a colour other than silver for this though, as I like more contrast between paint and chrome (of which there is a lot here).

Gorgeous indeed! Like most models in this range by Minichamps. I can't imagine white metal models getting as finely detailed as this one. The front detail picture looks almost real!

I agree Tom, the chrome detail is largely lost on a silver car but as that's the colour of the real thing it's the only colour it could be.
It's a pity that MC stopped making these high detailed models though I can live without the ridiculous boxes. Super detailed as you say Marcel and not likely to ever be made in metal.

The Rolls is one of my all time favourite cars and I have 2 versions by Top Marques and Vroom both in gold which I feel is the correct colour. I just don't understand why they painted it black when they restored it.

Before buying mine I did some research, because ATC offered it in black, white and gold, and I wanted to know which was the original version. According to what I found its first colour was black, then when the car had its first restoration it was painted gold, and when the car was found again it had become white. |
