I got stressed out just by looking at that paint booth! That used to be a very tragic moment during my brief model building times! 😬

Thanks Tom I got stressed out just by looking at that paint booth! That used to be a very tragic moment during my brief model building times! 😬 It still is for me, Julio. I clean it out frequently, I spray the inside with water to lay down the dust, I clean the model and then blow it over to remove dust all before spraying and still you get specks of dust in the paint! I very rarely get runs though these days so i am getting better Very nice looking paintjob, as usual Thank you very much Cheers Paul
Small update for now
Steering wheel and column meet dash
#
Body out of the booth
The all important prancing horse steering wheel centre
Side scoops in the booth for primer
Pedals added to the cockpit

What a finish! Do you ever polish the paint or do you just ride with the shine you get out of the air brush?

Nice stuff! Your paint job turned out very nicely. Thanks Tom What a finish! Do you ever polish the paint or do you just ride with the shine you get out of the air brush? I usually just go with the finish i get (from rattle cans) though sometimes i have to polish out handling marks Cheers Julio If this is a job application for a role in Ferrari's Classiche Department, the job's yours! I'm not sure I'm to that standard. Maybe another 30 years of practice!

This was the stage where I usually messed things up, hurrying to get it done. Looks like you aren't, nice detail work.
