This was the stage where I usually messed things up, hurrying to get it done. Looks like you aren't, nice detail work. It is probably the most difficult stage other than painting the main body. You'll note overpaint in my detailing work, which takes some careful clearing up. A wet cocktail stick is a most useful tool for this
Next lot of progress pictures
Painting the light reflectors
Lenses fitted
Fitting the rear light clusters
Roof console in place
And the rear lights
Painting the number plates
Windscreen and side windows in - it's all one piece
Priming the wing mirror
And the top coat
Engine cover fitted
And the rearview mirror
Side pod in place
And the other one
Painting the front indicators
Fitting the pop-up headlamps. I had hoped to make this work, so I put them in, in the open position and then gently closed them, but they got stuck, and now I can't move them at all without I fear damage so the almost closed position it is
Lastly, fitting the body to the chassis

Indeed, it shows that it's a high-quality kit and that you're an experienced builder. Very nice build.
