Cool! I photographed a Celica Sunchaser once here in the next town over. Very rare.

Wonderful photos Gents. Paul, I also had a Cortina of a similar vintage - baby-poo brown with a beige vinyl roof, it was my first car. Being in Australia, it had the 3.3-litre Falcon "six" and a 3-speed manual 'box with a floor-mounted gear lever. I need to go through our old photos to find a pic.

Wonderful thread. I have two pix as my contribution. One is of my grandpa, the other of my father. My grandfather, a Presbyterian minister, with his 1937 Chevrolet (I think?), photographed when he was living in Brisbane, Queensland in Australia. And this one is my father, with his Mark V Jaguar, probably around 1960, when he finally realised after 10 years that he couldn't afford a Jaguar, and so he sold it and bought a good old Holden, which he could afford to buy and run. Our driveway was a bit steep, hence the rock under the front tyre as handbrake-failure insurance.

Lovely Jamie. How often do you look at the picture of that Jaguar and wish that he'd put it long term storage instead of selling it.

Nice photos, Jamie!
I remember having seen that Jaguar photo already! Maybe in the old site?

Lovely photos that must bring back memories, I wish I had more of the old family cars. Oh and the family, bad me.
