It’s that time of year, again! So, it’s time to tell us what were your best three new acquisitions of 2023. So, here are mine, in alphabetical order. I had a particularly hard time choosing my top three because, I can safely say that this year I’ve added some of the nicest looking models in my collection! 1932 Bentley 8 litre Close Couple Saloon -by Mayfair- (Matrix)1938 Delage D8/120 S -by Pourtout- (Matrix)1937 Rolls-Royce Phantom III Sedanca de Ville -by Freestone & Webb- (GLM)

This year saw one of the fewest acquisition rates for my collection (only 14 models), but I noticed that average cost per unit is steadily increasing. My top 3 favorite "newcomers" in 2023: AutoCult Chevrolet Turbo Titan III (1966) Shuco Pro.R43 Aston Martin Victor (2020) And TSM Bugatti EB110 SuperSport (sorry dont have my own picture yet so I borrow it from TSM site):

Wow, I love the Chevy Turbine Truck. Ford did one of these too. I hope Auto Cult does a model of it also.

The Ford Big Red is on my wish list for ages.. but they should make it only with 1 trailer, not the full double trailer size, as it won't fit in any display case lol.

Easy this year as I haven't bought that much but there were a few that stood out.... Yowmodellini Alfa Romeo Pandion concept Tecnomodel Ferrari 250 Breadvan The third model would have been Schuco's Aston Martin Victor but as Paulius has already shown it it I'm going to cheat a little and post another car... Autocult Pontiac Phantom

Only three, eh? I've just spent a few hours browsing the 156 pages of my thread that cover 2023, and I can’t choose. Today it's these, might be completely different tomorrow GFCC -Jaguar SS Airline, because it offers such incredible VFM Matrix - Ferrari 250 GTE, I expected quality but was blown away by what it looks like in this colour MK Miniatures - Toyota Landcruiser, I knew nothing of this maker and the model was a huge surprise I could easily do a top 20 and still have nothing but gems...

I know how you feel, Tom! Choosing only three is quite challenging!
I was very tempted to include my Jaguar SS, or some of the other amazingly nice GFCC models that I bought during 2023, all of them influenced by your recommendations!

For different reasons my favourites of 2023 are: Spark - Alfa Romeo GTV6 2.5 Group A - 1984 Spa 24 Hours I have been smitten with these cars since being a small lad and then seeing them race locally in 1985/86. The 116 series Alfetta/GT/GTVs are pretty much my favourite Alfa Romeo and I have been patiently waiting for Spark to do some racing versions. There are others on the way in 2024, so watch this space! Spark - Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce TCR 1.7 Turbo - 2020 WTCR Championship Slightly cheating as there are two of them, but being the owner of a Giulietta QV road car (and loving it to bits), again I have been patiently waiting for Spark to provide racing versions. I am now a happy man! The above two have sentimental value for me, but the "best" model I added in 20203 was this one, Tecnomodel's excellent Alfa Romeo Alfetta 159M, Giuseppe Farina's 3rd placed car from the 1951 Spanish GP. Being a bit pricey I only ordered this one as the others released I already had in Minichamps form. The Tecnomodel is easily head and shoulders above the others.

I bought way too much stuff (as usual) last year thus I cannot go through them to decide which three please me the most. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. A few of those I bought are on this thread though.
