Good to hear that it lived up to your expectations Julio. Sometimes it's nice to have a coffee table book, sometimes it's just information that you want.

That cover is very reflective of the magnificent subject matter in real scale. Congrats on another keeper!

I have recently bought and am currently three quarters of the way through a new book 'Bugatti Supercars' by Lance Cole and published by Crowood Press. Content is finishing most recently at 'Divo/Mistral' and with much research from the Archives of BOC UK and Bugatti Trust at Prescott. As I first visited Prescott Speed Hillclimb in the mid 1960s - and having attended some meetings in more recent years I am enjoying the read so far.... Naturally 'your' book gets a mention in the bibliography. Photos in mono and colour do a good job.

I’ve just taken a quick look at your book over at Amazon, it looks quite interesting!

Finished reading it yesterday! Excellent book. Twenty years ago I was fortunate and very privileged to be able to visit the factory at Molesheim. Veyron was still in production. A member of our party took his car (Veyron) into Germany after midnight at took it past 200mph on quiet autobahn..... and told our party about it at breakfast!
Three 1:43 Auto Art Veyrons in my collection remind me of that visit.

One of my former design students is now the manager of a local exotic car dealership, they sell Astons, Lamborghinis, Lotus, and they’re the Bugatti representatives in Mexico. He recently made a trip to Molsheim and he loved it! I have some of AutoArt’s Veyrons, too. Great models!

307Won at an auction on August of 2022, in sort of a package deal along with two other books, this is a thin sort of scrapbook with a few, period, black and white photos, that is written by J. D. Benjafield, a famous Bentley driver, with a foreword by the also famous Woolf Barnato. Apparently, it’s sort of a historical kind of document (published in 1948) and it might be an interesting read!

My late uncle was a Benjafield and I have always wondered if he was a relative of Dr Benjafield as it's not a very common name. Good book to own.

That sounds interesting indeed! Nice historical document. Thank you, Tom! It surely looks, feels…and smells, historic! My late uncle was a Benjafield and I have always wondered if he was a relative of Dr Benjafield as it's not a very common name. Good book to own. Thank you, Paul! You should probably ask your cousins!

Sadly he passed away in December 2016 from Motor Neurone Disease at the age of 66. He did have a son but I don't really know him very well and I'm pretty sur he wouldn't be that interested anyway.
