Photos Organized by Types of Ford Models by Michael, on Flickr Recently I created about 30 new "albums" on my Flickr about to sort out 12 years of scale model photography by model/marque. In the process I started noting which albums were becoming the largest, these being Falcon by a huge margin, followed by Taunus, and in third place, Early Ford V8s (flathead/sidevalve).

Sorting and arranging all those pictures is quite the achievement! Yes, it took all weekend, and at times I thought my eyeballs had melted. Why we are compelled to do the things we do?

Annual Model Census: 2022 by Michael, on Flickr 2022 Annual Model Census This year’s census shows a smaller grand total (38) then previous years – which is necessary due to storage limitations. PCT continues as my largest source of models, although the number of partwork models has decreased. Thanks to PCT’s offerings, 2022 was a very good year for large trucks. Vanguards is doing well with five new additions, same for Trax. It was nice to have new Goldvarg models to pick from in 2022 as well. I find myself really looking forward to your "Year in Review" posts. Another banner year of Blue Oval additions.

Resin Model Ford Collection by Michael, on Flickr With the arrival of the Goldvarg Mercury Cyclone, my designated shelving for resin model storage is full. I have to store my models without their protective boxes because I need the models to be available for photo shoots on short notice. I learned a long time ago that storage for resin models has greater requirements than for die-cast. This cabinet is best for these models because it is waist high (bending over to retrieve delicate models seems like asking for trouble) and plenty of clearance between the shelves to prevent whacking the bottom of a higher shelf when moving models around. I don't have any room in my house for additional cabinets, and yet I don't want to stop collecting. It will be interesting to see how I wiggle out of this situation. Stay tuned.

That seems to be a good solution for your unique requirements. I'm interested to see how you will resolve this.

This was in my Aliexpress ad feed today. It was excessively priced and it doesn’t seem to be a very good model, but it might just plug a hole in your Aussie Ford collection...

I've always like Aussie Fords and this is one of my 'faves', but I'd like that one in a more inspired colour.

Tom, I have never seen this EF Falcon model in white before, I have a blueish version and I've seen a dark red version to (possibly a taxi version too). The model brand on mine is called "Paradise Garage" but I suspect the model is a PCT product. EF Ford Falcon Futura by Paradise Garage by Michael, on Flickr
