Congratulations on the retirement Michael. Like a few of us here, it is potentially only a few years away for me as well, but I’m looking forward to having more time to dedicate to my collection and probably are as well.

Congratulations on your retirement, may it be a long and healthy one. I officially retired on April 30th 2010 at 55 as I had had to have a pretty serious operation and my employers gave me early retirement. It was such a joy to not have to commute into London on a train and I never missed the office, my colleagues or hearing the alarm clock!

Very happy for you and a wee bit jealous as I am counting down the days. I hear you on the reduced spending, I am in that mode from the beginning of last year and for the next 28 months. Whatever you have to do to keep from having to go into work every day is well worth it.
