Nice add! Sounds like a very interesting book! Very much so! What Julio says. I also have a couple of models of these cars. Looking at the drivers names on the cover I have met Bob Bondurant, Jack Sears and John Whitmore and have a couple of Cortinas signed by him, he came into the old St Martins model shop in London and signed them and I scooped up a couple. Jack Sears was an absolute gentleman to talk to, I have a model of his 1963.5 Galaxie with which he won the 1963 British saloon Car championship despite the best efforts of Jaguar to have the car banned as they had done in 1961 when Dan Gurney imported an 1961 409ci Impala which led the way at Silverstone until a lap or so from the end when a rear wheel broke. Lucky, most of them are just names on a page to me. That is fantastic! Love those highly specialised books, when you've read them you really know everything there is to know on the subject. The model is pretty amazing and very tempting too. The book is almost too detailed at times if you know what I mean. Those Kyosho Daytona coupes still ring the bell. It does look like a crackerjack read. I have Mick Walsh's one on a 1933 Alfa Romeo Monza that is part of the same series. It is still on my "to read" list but you have inspired to move it up the order. I do not think you will be disappointed moving it up. it is a very good story so far 1/3 in.

If there ever was a book written for Mentor Jeff! I'm guessing the level of research resonates with your depth of knowledge of CS and all parties involved. The pic with your model is lovely too! Books and matching cars really tie this hobby all together When I have my mini-museum someday, really hope to do similar 'pairings'. Now isn't that a term used by 'wine snobs'? Please don't confuse me with that bunch, ahhahaha!

Cool book! Now on my must buy list. Back in 1996 I was fortunate to be at Laguna Seca Raceway where the late great CS was signing books and posters. The poster I chose he signed for me is now one of my prized possessions plus he allowed me to photograph him signing it. More recent encounter at Goodwood Revival a few years ago was getting Jack Sears autograph on a smaller poster of Cobra Coupe.
