Job done, not brilliant but on to James Hunt 1976 next. I got the decals from Grand Prix Decals. They have an eBay store and are on Facebook www.facebook.com/GrandPrixDecals/ Excellent service. Thanks Stevie.
Thanks Stewart. Just FYI, I think there may have been one extra decal there that goes on Fittipaldi's helmet.

Latest Upgrade?I recently purchased the new GP replicas 1977 Lauda Ferrari 312 T2 as an upgrade to replace the La Storia model in the collection.
However when I put them together I realised that in fact they are quite different.
The car in the foreground is the new acquisition which is indeed a T2 (“early season”). The other is the La Storia model of the winner of the German GP and is in fact a 312 T2B. Differences can be seen in the front suspension, rear wing, NASA ducts, bodywork and livery. This is well covered by Wikipedia. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrari_312T#312T2B
The photo above shows both cars in the cabinet. Incidentally the 1976 Hunt car is yet to get it’s Marlboro decals.

You could go crazy collecting all the different iterations of every F1 car...

You could go crazy collecting all the different iterations of every F1 car... These are not different iterations Tom but totally different cars with different designations, 312 T2 and 312 T2B. Also completely new built chassis. Diligence not Craziness. Appreciate your input however, as always.

I was referring to the cars as they ran at every different track, but really these are evolutions of the same chassis, albeit with more significant changes than were required for individual races. You could make an entire collection around the 312 chassis, I think it's one of the cars that is well represented in model form.

A case of when "too many 312s is barely enough". You can get caught in a whirlpool when it comes to this era of Ferrari F1s, more's the joy

The rest of my 312T models are shown on the top three rows of the photo below.

That is a very impressive collection of F1 Ferraris - I tip my hat to you. Cheers Martin and others. I actually have three cabinets of Ferrari F1 from 1950 up to the latter end of Schumacher’s era when it got a bit less interesting. I put it up back on S143, but it didn’t evoke much interest. Might try again.
