Judging by the badges they're Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and Maserati. Sorry Tom, I was asking who made the models e.g. Minichamps, Ixo etc? The Alfa is Minichamps, the MB W196 is Altaya, the Ferrari is IXO and the Maserati is Schuco. The signature plate came from CMA who had leftover plates from another project. Glad you liked the piece. 😀

This latest (expensive) Spark acquisition completes the upgrading of the Fangio Mercedes models in the collection. It replaces the very acceptable PW 1954 open wheeler that I had considered improving with better wheels etc. as advocated by members. However I bit the bullet and I’m glad I did. The two models are shown together in the following pics. All four models are shown in the cabinet below

The Spark is clearly superior. Nice upgrade!

I think that was the right choice Stewart. I'm not a great fan of driver figures, but I think in this case it really adds to the car.

An upgrade to the collection…
The Tecnomodel packaging is superb. The model also. I’ll post more photos soon.

Nice model. I never knew that Mr Humperdinck made tyres before switching to singing....

That does look brilliant. Nice model. I never knew that Mr Humperdinck made tyres before switching to singing.... I bought the Tecnomodel item to upgrade from a reasonable Brumm model. The following photos compare the two models. I was immediately struck by the difference in size. Brumm Tecnomodel Into the cabinet

Yeah, Brumm often doesn't adhere to 1:43. Their Morgan 3-wheeler is closer to 1:35.
