Let’s celebrate the ultimate World Champions. The cabinet shown below is an early image of my own collection which is being updated and upgraded as funds permit. This is the next potential addition to replace a very good Brumm model as part of the upgrade process. Please feel free to join this thread.

Nice collection Stewart. Without wanting to get too ahead of myself, I'm thinking there may be a bit of variety on the top shelf come year's end.

As part of the upgrade process this is the latest addition to replace an RBA model www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325176776909Bit of a shot in the dark since I’ve no idea of the brand etc. and it’s coming from France but it looks pretty good.

An upgrade. Juan Manuel Fangio, Maserati 250F, 1957 French GP 1st. A reasonably priced SMTS replacement for the incumbent Brumm model. When it arrived I was initially a bit doubtful about the decision. However alongside side each other I can see the improvements. Suspension, wheels, mirror, exhaust pipes, bodywork detail, and screen.

Arrived today and what a good shot it was! Below shows it alongside the RBA model which is actually quite nice. In the cabinet. I still don’t know who’s kit it came from. This underside shot doesn’t seem to give any clues but does show the detailed stone deflectors. Quite a good purchase for £26 and quick cheap postage. I can highly recommend the seller, titka2001 www.ebay.co.uk/usr/titka2001?_trksid=p2047675.m3561.l2559

I was contacted by steviesx recently who kindly offered me some McLarens with Marlboro livery. I realised that in fact I could actually add decals to my existing models. This is my first attempt.
McLaren M23 by Minichamps with all the spaces open for the decals.
Job done, not brilliant but on to James Hunt 1976 next. I got the decals from Grand Prix Decals. They have an eBay store and are on Facebook www.facebook.com/GrandPrixDecals/ Excellent service. Thanks Stevie.

Job done, much better!
I wish someone would do some serious research into the likelihood of adults picking up smoking from buying models with tobacco sponsorship.

Nice work Stewart. I am a regular customer of GrandPrixDecals and can heartily recommend them. The only problem with them is the at the "user-apply" end, what with me having so many thumbs
