Great work, thinking this may be the future of showing off our cars.

I find that I am coming back again and again to look at these - fantastic work. I do like the engine sounds at the start of each video - the Ferrari one reminds me why Italian cars get me excited moire than any others . My only request would be, and I don't know how difficult this would be, is to add an extra line in the heading for each model that notes the Driver and Event.

Did you polish the models before the videos or is it the reflection from the mirror base or the lighting? Either way, they look very shiny which adds to the great effect.

Good stuff Stevie. Can you tell me where I can get a turntable like yours since you can post videos on eBay now and at the moment I’m using a cake icing turntable which is pushed by finger and consequently jerky. Also my finger appeared in one of my listings! It sold anyway. Also are we able to post videos directly on here or do you have to use YouTube as you have done. The link below is to a listing with my video attempt! www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325408279046

Thanks everyone.
I may add additional information when I get better editing but at the moment it would make the text tiny. I've never been particularly bothered about the driver in honesty and on a number of them there isn't a specific event as it's just modelled on a season car, so some of the displayed information wouldn't be consistent between models.
I keep all the models either in sealed cabinets now or in their boxes so most of them don't get dusty but for those that need it I do give use a paint brush with a little bit of soapy water before I put them on the turntable, drying off with a tissue.
Just finished the 6th video and got it uploaded last night. Racing machines from France.

It's been a little while as for some reason I was having trouble uploading the most recent video and then suddenly it decided to work.
Today we're looking at some German racers throughout the more recent decades.

Great video, you seem to have the process pretty much sorted. Looks very professional.

Nice stuff.
If the turntable has a DC motor it should be pretty easy to add variable speed control. Or you could use a free video editor like OpenShot to slow down the video, but I suppose you've got that sorted.

I'm not sure if it's a DC motor or not honestly but expect it is. The unit has controls to change the speed - they're just not very clear and I'm happy with the standard speed.
I'm now going to do some videos by decade, starting with the 50s. Don't have too many 50s cars so I'm not splitting this one into categories but after this I'll most likely split it into Touring Cars, Rally, Formula 1 and GT/Prototypes.

Three more fantastic collections - I'd happily take all the French cars and the be-winged BMWs and DTM cars strike a chord with me. The best is saved for last though with the '50s racers. Heavily populated with Italians it has to be the pick for me, although the Talbot Lago also catches my eye.
Wonderful work.

Thanks as always everyone!
First of the split videos, presenting the Swinging Sixties. This one is split by touring cars, Formula One, rally and GT/prototypes.

Had a bit of trouble with this one as I'd originally put it to Highway To Hell by AC/DC but anything including that song is outright blocked on Youtube so I had to re-do it with a different classic 70s track.
