The Lotus 23 is also one of my favourites Stewart. It was towed to Le Mans on a trailer behind a Ford Thames van from the Lotus works: Oxford Diecast made this model of the Lotus van a few years ago which makes a nice pairing with Lotus if you can find one.

Stuart Crystal Green is a Medium to Dark Green non metallic colour. Not as dark as British Racing Green. The interior is a light green colour. There have only ever been two Sunbeam Mk3 models in 1:43rd scale. Provence Moulage made a resin kit many years ago. The only current one is available as a kit from Promod Models. Contact Graham Ward at promod-diecast.com/This was a Somerville Mk2A model which they converted to a limited edition Mk3 ( correcting the front vents and wing vents) In this group of photos look for the two tone green car photographed at Sherbourne Castle. The colour you are looking for is the darker green on this car www.bing.com/images/search?q=sunbeam%20talbot%20mk3%20images&form=IQFRML&first=1Chris

Stuart
Looking a bit deeper into this and correcting myself...
The Jim Clark car is a single dark green colour for definite.
Its NOT Crystal Green as listed this is a light metallic colour
But listed in the Two Tone colours is Cactus Green / Pine Green colour. The dark colour of these two
I have a book about Sunbeam Talbots listing every chassis number, its body colour and registration number and is pretty complete
Unfortunately for us BSH 510 is NOT listed!!!!
I wonder if this was a special order for Jim Clark, the nearest green colour the Rootes did to British Racing Green?? Who knows
Perhaps contact Graham Gauld the authority on Jim Clark?
Chris

I think that the following Photo proves Chris’s point that the car was available in a dark green, quite possibly Pine Green although the ICI code 2844 brings up nothing. I’m sure Griff and Bernie can work their magic from this image.
