Fabulous model! ❣️❣️❣️ I used to have two Colani pens (one black, one grey)... I wonder where are they!

I remember how impressed I was with that first Colani Testarossa concept, back in the 80s! Has it been done as a 1:43? As you've already seen, Will posted his model's pictures.. I am still trying to find one at a decent price. That cannot be anything else than a Colani creation. They always look like he's attacked a conventional design with a blowtorch... if you're serious about concepts, your collection needs at least one. Like this a lot. Yeah, I think he used to be affected by some sort of substances while designing Well that's an interesting design for sure. Absolutely! In particular this car (let's say the presentation version) could be a perfect 90s supercar. I love Colani's designs - it's a pity there are not more models of his creations. I got the original prototype as soon as it was released and I absolutely love it... Thanks for showing off, again.. I really want this one in my collection! brilliantly bonkers and what a fabulous model - very high quality Thanks! Indeed the build quality and finish on this Ilario is top notch. Something that you would expect from a proper handbuilt model, right? Fabulous model! ❣️❣️❣️ I used to have two Colani pens (one black, one grey)... I wonder where are they! I think the model looks better than the real thing, it is SO wild!! I am amazed how Colani managed to put some of his creations into household items or consumer products (including cups, some furniture, etc.). They are all such crazy shapes and designs!

That's exquisite, the only correct colour for it too. A case can be made for the Countach that it's almost a concept car for the road. Love the opening parts and the figurines.

I don't know about the only correct colour Tom, the Miura looks great in any hue and I would think a darker shade would better cover the panel gaps. Definitely one to display open. I always liked AutoArt's posable front wheels - it's a pity they pulled out of 1:43.

More of a piece of art than just a model.

That's a great looking model, not looking at some panel gaps. I would even consider it for my collection. But it still is a Miura, and I seem to be the only one not liking the design of the Miura.

I would agree with BertOne here, Tom, I think Miura is one of the very few cars that I don't have a "favourite" colour, and all look good on it. Maybe just very dark colours like dark blue or black decrease the charm of it. As Will says, darker shade would probably suit the model better, but once my cabinet is ready (some time in the nearest future in terms of years), it will be definitely displayed in an open position. I wish I got a silver McLaren F1 to join the party... maybe some day I get lucky with a bargain for it. Absolutely stunning! ❣️❣️❣️ More of a piece of art than just a model. Thanks! And yes Marcel probably you are the minority on this Planet of people who don't like Miura design
