I also prefer the silver version! Everyone has a collection of silver Mercedes. I like the “Papaya” as a nod to McLaren’s input.

As they say, "similar minds think alike"! I really liked the orange one, being an unusal shade for a Mercedes but also suiting this particular car well. I think I said this already, but if MC would have released a closed version or just with accessories to close the passenger compartment as they did with their 1/18 editio, I would have kept an orange "closed" model for sure.

One of the essential concepts of my youth. Perhaps not beautiful but certainly striking.

Awesome looking model of an iconic Italian concept of the late 60s!

You know, I've got the 512S too. Really like the striking shape and colour. But the absolute highlight of the model to me is the interior. I had the other TM concepts too, Modulo, Carabo, Zero. But those all have gone because after comparison I had better models already. But with this one they are the only good offer.

One of the great late 60s/70s concepts and a lovely model. I had the old Hostaro version which was very good for the time but this new version is nicer so the Hostaro has been moved on. My only complaint is the pop up lights and shut lines generally which are not well defined but everything else is spot on.

Quintessentially of the period for concepts and all the better for it.

Quintessentially of the period for concepts and all the better for it. Totally agree here, it is one of the icons of car concepts.. maybe not so famous as other examples but still impressive looking! You know, I've got the 512S too. Really like the striking shape and colour. But the absolute highlight of the model to me is the interior. I had the other TM concepts too, Modulo, Carabo, Zero. Yes, I think TM nailed this model so it is natural that all collectors focusing on accuracy should have this version One of the great late 60s/70s concepts and a lovely model. I had the old Hostaro version which was very good for the time but this new version is nicer so the Hostaro has been moved on. My only complaint is the pop up lights and shut lines generally which are not well defined but everything else is spot on. This is a minor "problem", I'd say.. Unless you get a MakeUp, probably nobody would do such a good QPR and details in 1/43.

Following with one of my nicest purchases in 2021: TMT Models (18 of 40) Lamborghini LM002 Pick Up by Autocostruzioni SD (Salvatore Diomanti), 1986 for Saudi Arabian customer. Unkown number built (probably 1 off). TMT is a small artisan resin model maker based in Ukraine, although no longer in business (the man moved several years ago and stopped developping new models). Maybe you haven't heard of this " carrozzeria" before, but the guy was in charge of producing the bodies of Bizarrinis before the company busted, and set his own workshop in 1970 for maintenance of Bizarrini cars and special projects. One of which was.. AMC AMX concept's construction (the mechanical part was prepared by newly born Giugiaro's ItalDesign and tested by BMW technicians). Later years will see more unique cars rolling out from his doors, like special cabriolet or limousine versions, LM002 pickup and wagons for Arab sheiks, Popemobiles and not to forget one of the very first Bugatti EB110 pre-production protos. Now back to the LM002 Pickup: build for falconry and has a hydraulic passenger seat for better aiming. The rear/cargo compartment was lined with corrugated metal for easy cleaning after carrying the birds and the game. The model also has the feature of elevated seat, although I did not place it for pictures. I think the model is based on a highly reworked and improved Minichamps model, with lots of tiny details: More info about the company: www.diomante.com/home/progetti-projects/

Great model but I still only have eyes for the standard, production LM002. It's a pity TMT didn't continue as their models look excellent (the website is still up by the way).

That looks like a very nice model. But although I have well over a 100 Lamborghinis in my collection, I'll stick to the standard version which I have from Minichamps and Ixo.
