Great model but I still only have eyes for the standard, production LM002. It's a pity TMT didn't continue as their models look excellent (the website is still up by the way). That looks like a very nice model. But although I have well over a 100 Lamborghinis in my collection, I'll stick to the standard version which I have from Minichamps and Ixo. Yes standard LM002 is bad-a$$ car and MC model looks great! (I think it even had some suspension that I checked some years ago), but I just had to have this special coachbuild.. Very interesting model! An iconic, bonkers statement car, a very rare and nice model. I think that is a very interesting and nicely produced model. And unique, too! Referring both to the real car and the model..

IXO for Salvat (PW) Pegaso Solo 500 1989 Concept Truck (Last edition, NÂș 60 from the Spanish Camiones Pegaso (or "Pegaso Trucks")) Diecast with plastic parts, rubber tyres, heavily tinted windows but the model has interior (see below). As the model uses triangular screws I could not disassemble it for decent interior pics although I bet it is plain black, similar to the real truck. Concept trucks are not a common sight today, and the same was 30+ years ago! It looked and still looks very futuristic. Designed by a Spaniard Francisco Podadera, it predicted aerodynamics influence in heavy transport, sliding doors, Recaro seats, square steering wheel/joystick, rear view cameras instead of mirrors, navigation systems and many other hi-tech features. The name 500 stands for the special 500 HP engine that it used. The car was first presented in a show painted in silver and it was a mock-up (non-running example) with a regular steel chassis. Later a new carbon fibre reinforced chassis was built and matched with the 500HP engine. At some stage side mirrors appeared. The truck acted as a Pace Truck in Jarama circuit during truck races, and at some point was restored to it's current colour configuration: all white (including exhaust tip), logos in red, and with side mirrors. The model is more than decent, and I suspect that Salvat will release a silver version at some point, too. First truck: Interior: Becoming white: Getting side mirors and minor paint/logo colour differences: Current condition as preserved in an upcoming automotive museum in Nortwestern Spain: Model pics: The seats are even 2-tone as the real thing! Kudos for IXO for making a complete and detailed underbody: Poor but safe packing: Magazine supplied with the model shots:

As you say, it still looks futuristic, at least on the outside; the interior looks more like something from the early seventies rather than the late eighties. Does full justice to the Pegaso marque.

Great Lamborghini Paulius. When I was in Dubai, I knew a pilot who used to fly planes for the Royal Family which they would use to go 'falconing'. They used to have three planes - one they could load up with vehicles (presumably like this), one would be loaded with the mobile field camp and the third they would load up with the falcons: It wouldn't surprise me if they had 3 or 4 of these Lamborghini's.

Yep, but still looking cool! As there are not that many concept trucks, each one is a piece of admiration. Looks better than the Tesla abortion. Indeed!! I kind of liked Tesla pickup concept, but not a big fan of the truck though.. Great Lamborghini Paulius. Now that is something special! I knew about hiring a special flight just for the falcons, but never knew there used to be a fleet of airplanes for different "cargos"! Thanks for sharing Ian. Great, and rather unusual, model! I admire IXO for releasing rather detailed and accurate diecast of really obscure subjects! It's not that you can "recycle" this mould into many different versions.. my only guess is that they could release another colour variant.

One of my most anticipated models of the year, though there's not much competition these days. It's a lovely model of a great looking car. I agree about the lights but everything else is spot on, the wheels in particular are worthy of special mention.

Will I'm glad you managed to find one, as I've read they got sold out really quickly, probably most of them on pre-orders.. Wonder what was the production run? Maybe they will re-stock it later? Re: wheels, comparing to the real car's pictures they seem to be a little bit too shiny as if they were chromed while the real car has sort of brushed metal colour. But yes, the general impression is very good! A great looking model. Glad i have it! If you like Aston Martin, it's a piece that you can't miss!
