A Ranchero prototype. I really like the looks of that era of Ford and that Ute is a winner!

Some new arrivals to show and tell. Mis-badged as a RS. I don't know if that black panel between the taillights was offered on any models other than the RS. Nice! The 12M, 15M and 17M were very popular here and could be seen on the roads well into the '80s. Good colour too. I like the Trax wagon, good looking car and model.

The XP looks very good. I drove a 1:1 in the same blue for a while in my youth, a friend lent me the car while my Cortina was being repaired after an accident.

The TSM partswork is very nice. I wish Vanguards would get the ride height correct on their models.

1961 Comet by Goldvarg Mercury Comet (1961) by Goldvarg by Michael, on Flickr Introduction of this model was delayed by over a year, and I was anticipating it's release the whole time. However, when it finally was issued late this past Spring, I begin to have second thoughts. The color (although nice) wasn't what I was expecting. I also noticed that Goldvarg had made a decision to leave the headlight buckets empty! However, I eventually gave in. Other issues are that the model appears to be slightly over-size and the grille could have used matt black paint on the vertical bars. Mercury Comet (1961) by Goldvarg by Michael, on Flickr Those empty headlight buckets! What was Goldvarg thinking? Also, the vertical bars should be painted matt black to give the grille the floating feeling of the 1:1 (see below).
