Right now I have about 15 Aussie Fords in my collection. How many do you have now Michael?

I'm always interested to see what turns up in this thread, being an old Fordie. These were the cars I lusted after when I was younger, and I would suggest that all 3 have been modelled very well.
A standing ovation is required from this corner of Australia.

Ah I see that Trax did indeed model the Escort, nice trio.

A 351ci manual Falcon Cobra is on my 1:1 Dream Garage. Nice lineup.

Quite an eye-opener that a PW is now on a par with one of the better model makers of the past.

Comparison: 1959-60 and 1960-62 Ford Fairlanes by Trax by Michael, on Flickr The 1959 style Fords assembled in Australia were commonly referred to as "Tank Fairlanes" to distinguish them from the compact Fairlanes that followed. The first model to appear in the Trax Select Series was the 1959-60 Fairlane 500, which in Trax's rendition had a super goofy front and the back wasn't that great either. This new facelift Fairlane goes pretty far in making amends for their first effort (though I still think the front end does look quite right).
