These arrived to my personal library in 1986, when I moved to Germany: 23Gorgeous, big, beautifully illustrated and thoroughly delightful book about the greatest fashion designers up to the mid eighties! 24A gift from a friend. This book was done for an exhibition of Italian Design made at the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City. Nice but predictable… These two were bought at the Georges Pompidou Museum in Paris, during a Summer trip in 1987: 25This is a very nice and enjoyable book about this talented fashion photographer, filled with photos of beautiful models and great period fashion. 26A beautifully made book about René Gruau, one of the greatest fashion illustrators of all time! 27Bought in Aachen (then West Germany) at an exhibition about this extremely talented architect. An interesting book, with many architectural drawings and nice and very artistic black and white photos! 28The typical, extremely generic book about the most famous places of a country, in this case Germany. A Christmas gift from a neighbor, a Mexican lady also from Guadalajara, who lived in the same building where I lived!

The Mies van der Rohe book is very interesting. Would've bought that myself too.

Having never watched a Stars Wars movie those books are a bit lost on me, but as a '60s fan I do like the fashion/photographer books.

I've never watched one either. Not big on SF anyway. I’m shocked! I thought that everybody around our age had seen them!

1987…just before returning to Mexico. 29Luis Barragán is my favourite Mexican architect and this excellent book shows his most famous work. Surprisingly, I found and bought this one in Cologne! 30A beautiful, lavishly illustrated book given to me by my new European friends, days before I left Germany.

I've never really been into sci-fi and while I know there is more to it with Star wars, they've never appealed to me. When the first 3 came out I was too much into music to worry about them and then just didn't bother. . It's not just SW, I haven't seen any Marvel movies either (come to think of it I haven't seen many new movies lately). I hope we can still be friends

Our friendship is perfectly safe! And, I’m not much of a Marvel movie fan either. That’s for kids!
