Unknown (to me) driver trio, nice looking car and model. Pity about the result.

Clean no-nonsense livery and an attractive design - there’s nothing wrong with that.

That design looks all business, too bad about the ups and downs of its track history. Your 'paddock' really compliments all of your cars Andy !

It’s great to see DSN and now Spark producing the mid-70’s Chevrons - models which have been noticeably absent to this point. I’ve decided to pass on this particular one, but have other versions on pre-order so I’m pleased to see the quality is everything I expect.

Unknown (to me) driver trio, nice looking car and model. Pity about the result. That sums it up perfectly, Tom. Clean no-nonsense livery and an attractive design - there’s nothing wrong with that. As does this Martin That design looks all business, too bad about the ups and downs of its track history. Your 'paddock' really compliments all of your cars Andy ! Thanks BB. The lock-up is getting a bit long in the tooth these days to be fair. Might need to make a replacement As to Chevron (who incidentally are still out there) it has always been about all business and pretty successful at it, they have been over the years

Totally agree Ian, i'm certainly pleased to see them being made by both companies to a high standard.

Courage signed a deal in 1985 to use the Porsche flat 6 engine and would develop applicable Group C chassis to accommodate it, which lead to the team finishing 3rd overall at Le Mans in 1987 and 7th in 1990. 1991 saw Courages reclassified due to rule changes to the C2 class for older Group C cars and then in 1992 to C3 for Porsche engined cars, and it was in this class that the team entered 3 C28LMs with one being for the driver trio of Tomás Saldaña, Denis Morin & Jean-François Yvon. The trio qualified 19th but would show gains in the early part of the race so that by 6 hours in they were 13th and thereafter they spent the next 4 hours circulating in 14th before gaining two places to 12th but shortly after that it all unravelled when the engine failed after 142 laps.

A veritable rainbow of colours, but it manages to look coherent. In the absence of a race result, at least they did their laps looking good.

Yep, this one is in the same vein as the last one - nice clear livery and a classic Group C design. Tick.

The colour blocking reminds be a bit of the Porsche 936 Coupe ‘Art Car’ from 1986 that also has a similar DNA to the Courage. Definitely one to look out for.

They had the oldest car of the trio that were entered by Courage and in the end that showed when the engine failed. Cheers Yep, this one is in the same vein as the last one - nice clear livery and a classic Group C design. Tick. Very much so Martin on all counts The colour blocking reminds be a bit of the Porsche 936 Coupe ‘Art Car’ from 1986 that also has a similar DNA to the Courage. Definitely one to look out for. There is a distinct similarity in the design and as you say the DNA certainly in the mechanicals is very similar.

Michele Mouton and co-driver Fabrizia Pons would due to Audi's reduced WRC programme find them themselves on testing and development duties for the 1985 season, however they would compete in all rounds of the British Rally Championship. It was not a good year for the pair with only one finish in 5 events and so it was to be on the Circuit of Ireland when they retired from 3rd place after 2 stages wins on the 10th stage with technical issues. Incidentally, Mouton did not enjoy driving the Sport Quattro particularly on tarmac and would record her only finish of the championship in an older LWB A2.

Great car, top-notch driver and superb model.
I don't think any of the drivers particularly enjoyed the Sport q. 'Tricky nervous SOB' sermed to be the general consensus.

Despite the shortened wheelbase it still had the engine out over the front wheels so the weight distribution was never going to be right from the offset and with that shorter wheelbase it was also going to be twitchy. Required a certain style i think

Required insanity rather than style i think. That is an absolute belter of a model, event, driver combo.
