Probably one of the most eagerly awaited models for many of us for a long long time. Just a shame it’s only available as a Looksmart (when we know in 5 years time their will be a Euro 10 p/w version 😂).

Superb model, high quality! It is exactly that Very nice and purposeful looking model! This too And this Just magnificent- my favourite outright LM winner since 1965 ☺️ Partially this These are very impressive models. Should be for the price. That aside it's why we enjoy this hobby....sorry obsession. They are that and agreed. Obsession it is Probably one of the most eagerly awaited models for many of us for a long long time. Just a shame it’s only available as a Looksmart (when we know in 5 years time their will be a Euro 10 p/w version 😂). Very much so. It's about a 50% uplift over the equivalent Spark here but the same price as a TSM however considering the subject i had to stump up. For sure there will be a P/W and it will be good, just not this good

Ford returned to Le Mans in 2017 with an automatic invitation after their class win the previous year and would again run 4 cars with 2 cars under the Chip Ganassi banner, two being the US team and two for the UK team. Car 69 which had secured a third in class the previous year returned with the same number and driver line up of Ryan Briscoe, Scott Dixon & Richard Westbrook in the LM GTEPro class and would qualify 5th in class and 36th overall. They would lose a place in the first hour, gain 10 in the second, lose 13 in the third hour and gain 8 in the fourth hour as the early pit stops cycled through so after 6 hours they were running in 35th which would improve to 27th by half distance. Thereafter, gaining places was much harder so by 18 hours in they had moved up to 25th, and they would reach a high point of 23rd after 21 hours, but they would lose a place in the following hour which is where they stayed to the flag coming home 24th and 7th in class after completing 337 laps. A subsequent disqualification ahead of this post race amended this to 23rd.

Are you putting this in the "Prototype" section of your collection Andy, or the "GT" section Andy ? Either way, TSM have done a top-notch job.

Jean-Claude Aubriet returned to Le Mans in 1975 with his BMW 3.0 CSL, in which he and his co-driver 'Depnic' or Jean-Claude Depince had come home in 1974 in 15th overall and secured the Group 2 class win in the process. Entered in the same class again, they would qualify 27th overall and 2nd in class and would start from 25th, but it was all in vain because an early accident after completing only 1 lap saw them in last place where they stayed for the next 2 hours before the car was retired in the third hour.

Further to what Tom said, this should prove to be very popular.
It will look good paired with the Premium Classixxs BMW transporter too.

By coincidence I was thinking of buying this yesterday when perusing stuff on a well known auction site, well eBay. The same seller had this and some other very nice models and his prices are always good. I decided to buy a TSM Targa Florio Cobra driven by the great Dan Gurney and another bloke as I have an Exoto Fiat Bartolotti Cobra transporter to put in on. Might have to check out this CSL again though as I think it's the last one he has. And I'm supposed to be cutting down my expenditure, sigh. Edit: I succumbed to temptation and bought it. You're to blame for that .
